**Job Summary**
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data into our database systems. This is a full-time position available for both night and day shifts, offering the flexibility to work remotely. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting purposes.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and ETL processes for arenaflex's Supported Pursuit Publishing platform
* Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability
* Work with cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud to design and implement scalable data storage and processing solutions
* Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on public clouds like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure
* Participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall system performance
* Develop and maintain data models for effective capacity and recovery
* Work with distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, as well as NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB
**What You'll Bring**
* Demonstrated expertise in data engineering concepts, data set design, ETL cycles, and data mining
* Proficiency in working with data technologies like SQL, Python, Scala, Hadoop, and related tools and frameworks
* Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi and Apache Beam
* Strong skills working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra)
* Experience with continuous messaging using Apache Kafka
* Experience in designing and implementing data models for effective capacity and recovery
* Development-oriented mindset and willingness to raise the technical bar, as well as identify potential opportunities for improving existing processes, tools, and frameworks to achieve high scale and efficiency
* Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
* Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, data set design, ETL cycles, and data mining
* Proficiency in working with data technologies like SQL, Python, Scala, Hadoop, and related tools and frameworks
* Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi and Apache Beam
* Strong skills working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
* Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud

* Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB
