**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to build and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines that support our business objectives. You'll be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using a combination of Local AWS services and Amazon internal tools and technologies
* Collaborate with business partners across various verticals to understand their requirements and work closely with them to ensure data is ingested and processed to meet their needs
* Build and maintain professional, flexible, and security-compliant data pipelines to support our business partners
* Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs, assembling and improving structures and processes, and incorporating new patterns and innovations where suitable
* Gather and discuss requirements from business partners across verticals like Memberships, Deals, Reverse Logistics, Finance, Product, etc.
* Build new data ingestions using a combination of Local AWS services or internal Amazon tools
* Maintain/Improve existing data ingestions and ensure they meet evolving guidelines and corporate directives
* Build/Improve/Maintain systems or tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data
* Perform Code Reviews and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and Data Cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams

* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions that meet business objectives
* Working with business partners to understand their requirements and develop data pipelines that meet their needs
* Building and maintaining data pipelines using a combination of Local AWS services and Amazon internal tools and technologies
* Performing code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed for ETL and Data Cleanliness
* Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and applying that knowledge to improve our data infrastructure
**About the Team**
The Ring Data Warehouse team is responsible for managing the centralized data warehouse for Ring. We collect and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are used by different partners, such as Ring Product Design, Finance, Inventory Network, Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales Data.
**Fundamental Capabilities**
* 3 years of experience in data engineering
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
* Experience with SQL
**Preferred Capabilities**
* Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
* Experience in at least one current programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
* Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
