We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team in Dallas, USA. As a key member of our Data Pipeline Management team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and related systems. **Job Summary:**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing technical support for the design and deployment of our data engineering solutions. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow across various divisions within our organization. Your expertise in data engineering, cloud application development, and data pipeline management will enable us to drive business growth and success through data-driven insights.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Screen and maintain the components of our data engineering pipeline, including UIs, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and Shell, with code managed in GitHub and deployed through Jenkins.
* Collaborate with our production support team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our data engineering solutions that meet client requirements.
* Test and investigate data pipeline using test and live client data, utilizing Jenkins, Python, and Java to automate these tests and parse logs to determine next steps.
* Utilize dashboards for Kubernetes/OpenShift to analyze high-level issues and ensure services are stable.
* Support execution following go-live and work with the execution team to make adjustments as needed.
* Work with data suppliers to clarify requirements and eliminate barriers.
* Drive automation into routine tasks.
* Perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Chiefs.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 2+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud application development, and data pipeline management.
* Strong understanding of designing science and technology, including applying principles, methods, methodologies, and equipment to the design and creation of various products and labor.
* Familiarity with plan methods, tools, and standards involved in the creation of accuracy technical plans, outlines, drawings, and models.
* Ability to use reasoning and thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, ends, or approaches to problems.
* Ability to recognize complex issues and explore related data to create and assess choices and implement solutions.
* Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, without necessarily solving the problem.
* Ability to join pieces of information to form general principles or conclusions (includes finding a relationship between seemingly insignificant events).
* Ability to move back and forth between at least two tasks or sources of information (such as speech, sounds, contact, or other sources).
* Ability to organize things or activities in a specific order or sequence according to a particular rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, numerical tasks).
* Ability to identify or recognize a known pattern (a figure, object, word, or sound) that is hidden in other distracting material.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud application development, and data pipeline management.
* Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
* Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
