As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. You'll be the one who makes a difference in their travel experience, resolving issues, answering questions, and providing exceptional service.
**Key Responsibilities**
Here are the fundamental elements of the job:
* Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
* Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
* Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
* Perform traveler registration and front seat tasks (except curbside), resolve oversold seat tasks, and issue upgrades
* Issue vouchers and assist with vendors for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and revive
* Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/confirmation
* Work door reader/scanner and related tasks to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carryon items and departure line standards
* Work jetways/spans for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers
* Make boarding and departure gate announcements
* Carry domestic/international flight records
* Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures
* Accept, check, and label travelers' bags at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and five-star ticket counters
* Maintain schedule of flight loading process
* Perform customer service hands-on training
* Process and complete credit card transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Assist travelers with self-service booth registration and stand transactions at ticket counters
* Man the lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
* Clear/confirm international reports at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
* Assist customers requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and moving non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, as well as unaccompanied minors
* Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
* Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any required overtime requirements.
* Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
* Provide connecting traveler door information
* Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's standards.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
* Complete task applicable training stages
* Comply with federal laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
* Utilize various internal resources/systems including during customer communications
* Wear uniforms as required by company policy

* Least Capabilities
+ Instruction and Earlier Professional training
+ Bilingual language abilities required in certain areas
+ Material substantial driver's license as required by local authorities
+ Should meet FAA criminal record checks to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification presentation areas (SIDA), if applicable
+ Should be able to obtain suitable airport power or potentially US Customs security identifications, if relevant
+ Fruition of a pre-employment drug screen, thorough background check or potentially fingerprinting to fulfill company and security requirements
+ Should be approved to work in the U.S.
