Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Customer Engineer with expertise in security solutions and Google Cloud products. As a Customer Engineer, you will work with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions. You will be a trusted advisor to clients and a promoter for our security solutions, offering help to c-level, security leaders, developers, and analysts to lead projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand client technical and compliance challenges, and develop strategies to address technical blockers.
- Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner environments.
- Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver product messaging to highlight our solutions' value using strategies including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, proof-of-concept services, and response reports.
- Attend client sites, meetings, and other related events where relevant.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Experience: 10 years of experience in security or cloud-related models in a client-facing role.
- Skills:
- Experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware knowledge, cloud security act management, or identity and access management systems).
- Four-year certification or comparable practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certification in the Cloud or Security industry.
- Experience:
- Experience in implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat detection and hunting, malware knowledge, cloud security pose management, identity and access management systems, or SIEM and SOAR).
- Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack structures, zero trust, etc.).
- Skills:
- Ability to communicate openly and convey technical presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
