**Job Summary**
As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you'll work closely with our Technical Outreach teams to identify and deliver the benefits of Google Cloud to our clients. You'll be responsible for understanding client needs, explaining technical features, assisting with design planning, participating in proof-of-concepts, and investigating potential roadblocks. Your expertise will help our clients navigate the complexities of cloud computing, ensuring they get the most out of our solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Identify business and technical requirements, lead full technical discovery, and design client solutions to meet assembled needs
* Lead technical projects, technology support, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical assets
* Deliver product messaging for the Google Cloud Platform using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents
* Drive recommendations on integration strategies, project designs, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a comprehensive solution providing best practice advice to clients to enhance Google Cloud platform effectiveness
* Attend client sites, meetings, and other events as required
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a client-facing role
* Experience with inheritance and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and networking
* Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Dynamic US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Exceptional status
* Experience creating mobile structures using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration frameworks, or other relevant platforms
* Experience with Government Public Area clients, including defense and civilian agencies
* Knowledge of application security frameworks, including web application security, service boundary, and mobile security techniques
* Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the Google Cloud/IT innovation space
**Skills and Competencies**
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong technical expertise in cloud computing, software engineering, and related technologies
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
