**Job Description**

As a Custom Circuits Design Engineer, you'll be part of an exceptional silicon design team responsible for creating advanced ASICs. We're seeking talented individuals with a passion for designing innovative custom digital megacells (SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, ML accelerators, and data paths) used in high-performance, low-power SOCs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to design and develop custom circuits that improve chip power efficiency
* Work closely with the power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications
* Perform design, analysis, modeling, and simulation, including circuit-level design, schematic capture, spice simulation, and edge analysis across PVT
* Work closely with the format group to complete the design and ensure design quality
* Create and drive circuit procedures to achieve the highest design quality metrics
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
* At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in custom circuit design
* Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior
* Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, or others) and computer-aided design (CAD) automation tools
* Familiarity with industry-standard circuit and design tools
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in designing low-voltage, low-power custom circuits
* Knowledge of AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/strong inversion circuits, super-low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, analog on-chip sensors, fast timing, and time-to-digital converters (TDCs)
* Strong understanding of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-accuracy circuits
* Ability to lead investigations during silicon debug, manufacturing, and analyzing data; and use scripting to support efficient treatment of ATE data
* Familiarity with contradicting message check and behavior models for inconsistent message blocks
