**About the Job**
As an Experienced Full Stack Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in data analysis, financial planning, and process improvement. Your days will be filled with assessing data using SQL and Python, conducting in-depth data analysis and research, creating complex financial models, and contributing to critical business decisions. You will work closely with our Technical Bookkeeping, Functional Bookkeeping, Designing, Product, Finance, Audit, Legal, and other teams to drive key business initiatives and enhance our financial processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Work cross-functionally with Technical Bookkeeping, Functional Bookkeeping, Designing, Product, Finance, Audit, Legal, and other teams to drive key business initiatives and enhance our financial processes.
* Create and develop comprehensive financial data requirements to support the automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and efficiency in financial processes.
* Lead functional process improvement initiatives to further streamline income tasks and reduce the income close cycle.
* Review data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and plan Data Quality checks for identified use cases through financial requirements planning, special examinations, new product launches, etc.
* Collaborate with the Product and Designing teams to continuously improve our daily Income Reconciliation process and manage reconciliation investigation with the assistance of the analysis team.
* Conduct monthly income accounting close tasks, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, debt claims reconciliations, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations.
* Perform special examinations and projects as assigned.
**We're Looking for Someone Who:**
* Has 3+ years of experience in income accounting, data analysis, and business intelligence.
* Has a solid understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606 Income Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset.
* Possesses transitional/high-level SQL skills and the ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an asset.
* Has strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
* Can communicate effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and remotely.
