**Job Description**
As an Experienced Full Stack AWS Connect - Lex / Chat Developer, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering cloud contact center solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise in AWS Connect, Lex, Node.js, DynamoDB, TypeScript, and React will enable you to create high-performance call flows, develop efficient solutions, and ensure seamless integration with our cloud contact center platform.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Participate in the design, development, and delivery of solutions on IVR (Interactive Voice Response) platforms
* Develop efficient and high-performance call flows using AWS Connect and Lex
* Create unit tests to maximize code coverage and cover end-to-end business scenarios
* Support existing architecture and code, ensuring seamless integration with our cloud contact center platform
* Document call flows and design as needed, collaborating with other teams to understand scope and design efficient solutions
* Collaborate within the Agile framework, fostering a team approach to software development and delivery
* Ensure all code developed follows DevOps practices, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions
**Performance Expectations/Metrics**
* The developer needs to be an experienced IVR developer with AWS Connect experience
* The candidate should have experience building contact flows (both call and chat) in AWS Connect
* The developer's primary responsibilities are to analyze, design, implement, and test customized software applications
* The developer will have a strong knowledge of software development and design, with experience working to develop business-critical applications for contact centers
**First Day Experience**
* Onboarding, ensuring access to systems, meeting the team, aligning calendars and schedules
* Collaborating with the team to understand project scope, goals, and expectations
**Required Skills/Experience**
* Amazon Connect development experience
* AWS Connect, LEX, Node.js, DynamoDB, TypeScript, and React
* Experience in self-service callflows and complex systems/database integrations
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in software development
**Preferred Skills/Experience**
* Familiarity with AWS, certifications are a plus
* Works well with multiple teams, participating in Agile planning meetings and daily SCRUM meetings
* Responsible for consistent release management and good change management practices
* Review and perform troubleshooting analysis of core application logs
