**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As an Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director, you will provide administrative support to the Managing Director and the team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall success of arenaflex.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records
* Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and files using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software applications
* Screen calls and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
* Prepare and send correspondence, memoranda, reports, and other documents as required
* Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events as needed
* Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies and procedures
* Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
* Perform other administrative tasks as required
**Requirements**
* Secondary School Certificate, GED, or equivalent
* 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a customer-facing environment
* Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes is an asset
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in the airline industry
* Knowledge of corporate business cycles and methods, including cost reporting, purchasing, and departmental budgeting
* Four-year degree or 3+ years of relevant experience
