**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding process, you'll play a vital role in communicating with our delivery professionals, reviewing applications, and ensuring a seamless activation experience. **Responsibilities**
As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
* Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
* Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
* Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
* Maintaining accurate records and data entry in our system
* Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the onboarding process
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in a business environment, preferably in data entry, human resources, receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service
* Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
* Reliable internet access and a quiet work environment
* Availability to work full-time, including some weekends and nights
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service
* Experience with company software and systems
* Familiarity with virtual vehicle safety inspections and background checks
**Work Environment and Culture**
As a remote-friendly company, we offer the flexibility to work from home or in our downtown San Diego office. **Compensation and Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on your skills, education, and experience. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including:
