Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Chance Administration to lead our risk management initiatives and drive business growth. As a Director of Chance Administration, you will be responsible for exploring organized and unstructured data, interpreting data using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods, and collaborating with technology and other teams on the integration and implementation of risk management approaches and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore organized and unstructured data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
- Interpret data using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods to drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with technology and other teams on the integration and implementation of risk management approaches and business strategies
- Identify and assess new data sources (controlled and non-managed) that could add steady profitability to Blithequark's products/services
- Use industry and internal best practices and incorporate regulatory feedback on a case-by-case basis to drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems
- Develop and execute business process improvement strategies and project management plans
- Lead cross-functional teams and drive business change and reengineering initiatives
- Utilize MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling
- Work with Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Scene, Terawatt, Client Acknowledgment Testing (UAT), and Unix
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in each of the following:
- Risk management
- Interpreting complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences
- Working with technical, analytical, business, and non-technical teams
- Cost-benefit analyses and developing and executing business process improvement strategies
- Project management experience, driving business change, and reengineering processes
- Utilizing MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling
- Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Scene, Terawatt, Client Acknowledgment Testing (UAT), and Unix
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Additional experience in risk management, data analysis, or a related field
- Certifications in risk management, data analysis, or a related field
