Our remote team is comprised of talented individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional results and making a meaningful impact in the industry. **Responsibilities:** As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database. * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages or information, and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database. * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications. * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times. * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily. * Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required. * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations. * Performing other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * **Education and/or Experience:** + High school diploma or equivalent required + A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience + Experience in a medical office preferred but not required + MUST be tech-savvy and be detail-oriented * **Qualifications:** + Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone + Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet + Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. + Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness + Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met + Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed + Must be able to maintain confidentiality + Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment **Skills and Competencies:** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in multiple software programs, including Microsoft Office and the Internet * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures quickly **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** arenaflex is committed to providing opportunities for growth and development to our employees.
