Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your key deliverables will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles
- Identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing and reconciling returns activity
- Conducting analysis of complex and escalated issues
- Performing testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
- Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact Client/Advisor profiles
Duties and Analysis
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Review of subscription deals or transfer requests
- Client/Advisor amount exceptions
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconciliation of Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
- Review and analysis of correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues, including:
- Internal and external system improvements or issues
- Root cause of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, and other external partners
- Providing method or technology solution alternatives to Management
- Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm, Client, or Business Partner
- Answering business partner inquiries regarding Fund information requirements/eligibility
- Providing follow-up on Alternate Investment moves to expedite customer requests or remediate not neat issues
- Prompt and correct completion of client investing and dividend requests
