**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)**
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* **Reading and Interpreting Customer and Shipping Orders**: Accurately read and interpret customer and shipping orders, including deciphering difficult handwriting.
* **Keying Data into Microsoft Excel Fields**: Enter data into specific Microsoft Excel fields with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* **Verifying Data Accuracy**: Verify the accuracy of data before entry into the system to ensure consistency and reliability.
* **Maintaining Data Consistency**: Ensure consistency of data across the system, including updating customer address changes and maintaining accurate logs of ongoing work.
* **Administrative Duties**: Perform administrative duties such as filing, copying, and other tasks as required.
**What We're Looking For (Qualifications)**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite**: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* **Reading Comprehension and Critical Thinking Skills**: Excellent reading comprehension and critical thinking skills to accurately interpret customer and shipping orders.
* **Organizational Skills and Communication Abilities**: Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities to collaborate with the team and ensure data accuracy.
* **Patience and Attention to Detail**: Ability to maintain patience for repetitive tasks and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
* **Minimum of One to Two Years of Experience**: Minimum of one to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing.
**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)**
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:
* **Reading Knowledge of Spanish**: Reading knowledge of Spanish, as a small percentage of orders are in that language.
