About the Role
The Data Entry Professional will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our data. This will involve entering and verifying work-related information using computers and point of sale systems, as well as maintaining confidentiality and adhering to blithequark's policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Transmit information or documents using a computer, following established protocols and procedures.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
- Enter and retrieve information from computer databases to update records and answer inquiries, providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Verify information in documents or on computer screens for accuracy, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Operate standard office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect blithequark's assets, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, ensuring that all communications are professional and effective.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, contributing to a positive and productive team culture.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying and recommending new ways to increase organizational efficiency and productivity.
- Follow all blithequark safety and security policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Ability to enter and retrieve information accurately using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
