By joining our team, you'll be part of a talented network of employees with a shared vision, working together to achieve common goals in a diverse and inclusive community. **Responsibilities:** As a Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: * **Gathering Data and Entering Information into Databases:** Systematically collect relevant data from various sources, including surveys, forms, or existing records, and accurately input it into designated databases, ensuring complete and correctly formatted entries to maintain data integrity. * **Examining Records for Precision:** Meticulously review existing records to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness, cross-referencing data entries with original documents or other reliable sources to identify and correct discrepancies or errors, enhancing the overall quality of the database. * **Modifying Databases with New or Amended Information as Required:** Update the database with new information, edit existing records, and remove outdated information to ensure the database reflects the most current and relevant data. * **Conducting Routine Backups of Data to Guarantee Preservation:** Create copies of the database at scheduled intervals and store them in secure locations to ensure data security and preservation. * **Accessing Records and Electronic Documents from the Database:** Retrieve specific records or documents from the database as needed, using various criteria to locate the required information swiftly and accurately. * **Classifying and Arranging Physical Records or Notes Following Data Entry:** Organize physical records or notes systematically, categorizing documents based on predefined criteria, such as date, subject, or department, and ensuring they are stored in a manner that facilitates easy retrieval in the future. * **Preparing Digital Documents or Files for Printing:** Format digital documents to ensure they are print-ready, adjusting layouts, checking for errors, and ensuring all necessary information is included before sending the files to a printer, whether for internal use or distribution to external stakeholders. * **Supplying Team Members with Requested Data or Information:** Respond to requests from colleagues for specific data or information, utilizing effective communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred * 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field * Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in database management systems, including data entry, retrieval, and backup procedures * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion * Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as SQL or data visualization software * Knowledge of data quality control and data validation procedures * Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as Google Drive or Dropbox * Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies * Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high-quality data entry and database management * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and proactive approach to work **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** arenaflex is committed to the growth and development of our employees.
