As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in supporting our team's efforts by performing data entry tasks, researching data, and making outgoing calls to confirm accuracy. **Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
* Performing data entry tasks to assist the Marketing Research team, including:
+ Entering data into our database with high accuracy and attention to detail
+ Researching data to confirm names, addresses, businesses, and phone numbers
+ Making outgoing calls to verify data accuracy
+ Managing returned mail efficiently and accurately
* Collaborating with the Marketing Research team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
* Maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
* Adhering to company procedures and protocols to ensure data security and integrity
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* A minimum of one year of experience in data entry, preferably in a research or marketing environment
* Demonstrated research capabilities, including the ability to verify data accuracy and completeness
* Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the Marketing Research team
* Proficiency in spelling and grammar, with a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
* Familiarity with Oracle database or similar software is a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:
* Typing speed of 40+ words per minute (WPM)
* 10 Key at 9000 with at least 95% accuracy
* Familiarity with Oracle database or similar software
