**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our Media business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and systems using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and design data pipelines that meet business needs
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using SQL, Python, and other programming languages
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation, data governance, and data encryption best practices
* Work with data architects to design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and delivery
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data pipelines and systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and errors in a timely and efficient manner
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Strong knowledge and experience with Python, SQL, and other programming languages
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering principles
* Experience with automated workflows and scripts using tools such as Docker and GitLab
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Lake Formation, Google Cloud Data Fusion, and Azure Data Factory
* Experience with data security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
