**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customs Trade Coordinator to join our team in a remote data entry position. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customs documentation, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients. **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide impeccable customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
* Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customs documentation, including import and export shipments, using various systems and reference materials
* Maintain and update all shipment documentation in accordance with record-keeping requirements, ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws
* Work closely with other internal staff, divisions, and external partners to deliver a high level of service to our clients
* Process organization financier shipments and may handle distant filings
* Ensure all service and operational strategies are followed, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency
* Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, logistics, supply chain management)
* High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred
* Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and other office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
* Familiarity with various systems and reference materials, including customs regulations and laws
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in customs trade, logistics, or a related field
* Knowledge of international trade regulations and laws
* Familiarity with various software and systems, including customs clearance and freight forwarding platforms
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
