Our mission is to empower consumers with the tools and knowledge they need to control their personal data online, and we're building a large, sustainable, for-profit business to catalyze this movement. **Job Summary** The Customer Support Specialist reports directly to the Customer Support Team Lead and is responsible for interacting with existing and potential customers. After extensive training in this role, you'll respond to support requests via Zendesk to resolve support concerns and answer pre-sale inquiries. You'll work closely with internal teams to resolve complex issues, championing our customers' needs throughout the process. **Shift Hours** We offer two flexible shift options to accommodate your needs: * 11 AM EST - 8 PM EST / 8 AM PST - 5 PM PST * 12 PM EST - 9 PM EST / 9 AM PST - 6 PM PST **Job Responsibilities** * Educate customers on online privacy best practices and provide guidance on how to protect their personal data * Document information about the case, resolution, or feedback to help inform our strategic direction and improve our products and services * Partner with internal teams to resolve complex issues, championing our customers' needs throughout the process * Resolve inquiries received via web, email, and internal ticketing system in a timeframe consistent with department and team service levels and goals * Identify potential user interface issues and provide feedback to our development team * Elevate customer issues that cannot be resolved to the arenaflex Support team lead **Requirements** * Previous experience in customer support or a similar role * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written skills * Adept troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking * Passion for learning and an ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and educational manner * Ability to adapt to rapid changes in the workplace * Proficient in using technology and navigating multiple systems **What We Offer** * Comprehensive health benefits * Flexible work schedule * 100% work from home * Generous 401k matching * Paid time off * 13 company paid holidays * Childcare expense reimbursement * Fitness reimbursement * Birthday time off **Compensation** $24 - $25 an hour **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for online privacy and security, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
