**Program Overview**
Our program will run from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, and we're looking for Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program. As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of arenaflex.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer experiences through phone, chat, and email support
* Demonstrating a sincere desire for a quality customer experience and promoting a positive work environment
* Thriving in a fast-paced environment and handling change well
* Collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues and share feedback
* Understanding the value of individual impact on the team and company's success
* Simplifying and communicating complex ideas to customers
* Diffusing situations with angry customers and maintaining a positive/understanding attitude
* Staying up-to-date on changes to the product and tax season developments to provide knowledgeable support to customers

* Adhering to work schedules and being flexible to work extra shifts when needed
* Being comfortable on camera with customers and humanizing interactions
* Developing and sustaining productive customer relationships

**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School graduate or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferably)
* Experience providing support in a call center environment and comfortable using chat (preferably)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to display empathy with customers
* Intermediate level of knowledge in relevant operating systems and software environment
* Experience with software troubleshooting abilities
* Ability to modify communication style to meet customer needs and tone
* Customer service skills and ability to simplify complex ideas
* Ability to diffuse situations with angry customers
* Comfortable in a training environment with self-paced training module videos
* Committed to staying up-to-date on changes to the product and tax season developments
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* Experience working in a tax-related industry or with tax software
* Knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts
* Experience providing support in a call center environment and comfortable using chat
* Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
