**Program Overview**
Our 14-week program, running from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, is designed to provide a unique opportunity for Service Providers (SPs) to work with careerzynith and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be part of a collaborative team that thrives on innovation, teamwork, and a customer-centric approach. We're seeking individuals who are not only skilled in providing top-notch support but also possess a genuine passion for helping others.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and email, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate solutions to their tax-related queries
* Demonstrating a deep understanding of tax laws and concepts, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
* Utilizing active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns, and providing empathetic and personalized support
* Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues and share knowledge and best practices
* Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on changes to the product and tax season developments
* Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments, as well as adhering to schedule adherence in a call center environment
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferably)
* Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferably)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to display empathy and understanding with customers
* Intermediate level of knowledge in relevant operating systems and software environment
* Ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas to customers
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet team productivity goals
* Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
* Flexibility to work extra shifts when needed
