**Program Overview**
Our program will run from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, with a preference given to Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program. As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through various communication channels, including phone, chat, and email.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide top-notch customer support through written and verbal communication, ensuring a positive experience for our clients
* Demonstrate a sincere desire for a quality customer experience, promoting a positive work environment and team player attitude
* Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to empathize with customers, simplify complex ideas, and diffuse situations with angry customers
* Possess analytical skills to research, analyze, and determine an appropriate course of action in various situations
* Work well under pressure, meeting team productivity goals and adhering to schedule adherence in a call center environment
* Demonstrate initiative, multitasking, and time management skills, with a focus on circling back with customers to resolve issues
* Collaborate with colleagues to share feedback, promote a positive work environment, and drive team success
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School graduate or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferable)
* Experience providing support in a call center environment and comfortable using chat (preferable)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to empathize with customers
* Intermediate level of knowledge in relevant operating systems and software environment
* Ability to modify communication style to meet customer needs and tone
* Customer service skills, with a focus on simplifying complex ideas and diffusing situations with angry customers
* Analytical skills, with the ability to research, analyze, and determine an appropriate course of action
* Organizational skills, with a focus on initiative, multitasking, and time management
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling change well, and promoting a positive work environment
* Collaborative approach to problem-solving, with a focus on sharing feedback and driving team success
* Ability to adhere to work schedules, with flexibility to work extra shifts when needed
* Comfortable being on camera with customers, with a focus on humanizing the interaction
* Active listening skills, with the ability to ask probing questions to arrive at answers quicker
* Positive/understanding attitude in the face of difficult or challenging customer interactions
**Operating Hours and Schedule**
* Operating Hours: 8am to midnight EST, Monday to Sunday
* Required Minimum Hours: 30 hours per week
* Peak Period:
+ April 9th to 15th: 8am-midnight EST/EDT
+ April 15th, 2025: 8am-3am EST/EDT
* $5 Turbo Bonus Boost per hour, applicable to all hours worked from April 9th to 15th
* Service Providers (SPs) must meet the required minimum of 30 hours per week
* Schedule yourself and work a minimum of 8 hours each day on April 13th, 14th, and 15th
**Minimum Hours to be Worked Each Week**
* You must work a minimum of 30 hours each week on all schedules
**Mandatory Requirements**
* Must reside in the USA
* Must have passed background check and pass tech check in order to attend certification
* Must be on camera during certification
* Program will run from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, with a preference given to Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program
* Service Provider (SP) must have the following Hardware Requirements:
+ Windows Computer (Mac and Chromebooks are not permitted)
+ Windows 10 or 11
+ AMD or Intel Core Series (I3-I9)
+ At least 8gb of RAM
+ Webcam
+ Wired Mouse
+ USB Headset
+ Wired Internet Connection
