With a flexible work-from-home arrangement, you'll enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere in the US, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **What You'll Be Doing** As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: * Answering inbound calls from clients seeking assistance with public benefit programs * Interacting with clients in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed * Providing information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws * Assisting clients with program enrollment and navigating the application process * Routing clients to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls to ensure a smooth call transfer * Assisting clients with their communication needs, including relay services for callers with speech or hearing impairments, translation services for callers who don't speak English, and more * Placing outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with clients * Using multiple computer systems to access data and document information **About You** To succeed as a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll need: * At least one year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to clients * Knowledge of public benefit programs and prior experience in a health or human services setting is highly desirable, but not required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Great active listening skills, with the ability to understand and address client concerns * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document client interactions and maintain confidentiality * Strong PC skills, including the ability to quickly learn new computer applications and navigate multiple systems * A positive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional support to clients * Empathy, patience, and professionalism, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations * Strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment * The ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable programs, policies, and procedures * Good problem-solving and de-escalation skills, with the ability to resolve client concerns in a timely and effective manner **Your Home Office Environment** To work as a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements: * A computer meeting the following criteria: + Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time) + Memory: 8GB of RAM + CPUs (Speed * Processors): 6 + Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free space + Sound: sound card (standard on most computers) + Up-to-date antivirus software + Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please) + Dual monitors + A USB noise-cancelling headset + A webcam for your certification experience **Flexible Hours of Operation** As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within the client's hours of operation. Our hours of operation are: * Monday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET * Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET * Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 01:00 PM ET * Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET This opportunity is perfect for someone seeking roughly 10-15 hours per week, allowing you to easily schedule around other commitments. **Pay and Perks** As an independent contractor at arenaflex, you'll earn $13 per hour, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US.
