**The Position**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist II to join our Housing Choice Voucher program. As a key member of our team, you'll provide front-line information and assistance to customers, both over the phone and in person. You'll also assist with general office functions, including filing, mail/fax distribution, office supplies, and related duties. This is a candidate-pool posting, and the vacancy may be a term-limited position with an estimated end date.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Assist with general office functions, including filing, mail/fax distribution, office supplies, and related duties
* Use document imaging software to scan and manage documents
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
* Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals and objectives
* Participate in on-the-job training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
* Three years' work experience in general office work or related experience, including at least one year of experience using Word and Excel
* Use of document imaging software is preferred but not required
* Two years of mail processing or equivalent clerical experience is preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid Washington state driver's license with an insurable driving record
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a housing or social services agency
* Knowledge of housing choice voucher programs and regulations
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
