You'll coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, ensuring timely processing and resolving any issues that may arise. Your role will involve collaborating with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to guarantee the handling of specialty drugs on time and meet financial and clinical expectations. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide top-notch phone support to patients receiving specialty drug treatment, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and empathetic manner * Coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits * Assist patients in deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system * Collect and process copay sums, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and resolution of patient requests * Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and requests **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or customer service) * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone * One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness * Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License **Preferred Qualifications** * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and email applications **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
