**Primary Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Handling high-volume inbound calls from policyholders, providers, and interested third parties, ensuring exceptional service and first-contact resolution.
* Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
* Meeting customer needs through various channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence.
* Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management.
* Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 1+ years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service.
* A Receptionist role or similar experience where you handled daily calls is a strict requirement.
* 18 years of age or older.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Strong remote experience is preferred but not required.
* Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 20 UPLOAD & 20 DOWNLOAD internet speed and a hard-wired connection.
* A smartphone to access VPN.
* Insurance industry experience is a plus but not a requirement.
* A quiet and professional workspace.
* Basic computer knowledge and skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
* Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
* Excellent organization and time management skills.
**Training and Onboarding**
Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role. You'll participate in a 2-3 week training session, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST. After training, you'll be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, with flexible scheduling between 7:30 am - 6:30 pm CST.
**Equipment and Technology**
arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a smartphone for VPN access. You'll need to have a quiet and professional workspace to ensure excellent customer service.
**Location and Availability**
As a remote CSR, you'll work from home and be available to work Monday-Friday, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is presented. We're looking for candidates who can commit to a full-time schedule, with no part-time positions available.
