**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our remote team. As a key point of contact for policyholders and stakeholders, you'll provide exceptional service, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service via inbound calls, ensuring all inquiries and issues are handled promptly and professionally
* Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information, staying up-to-date on industry developments and arenaflex's policies
* Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, whether through phone, email, or written correspondence
* Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment
* Additional experience in a receptionist role, where you commonly took calls on a daily basis (strict requirement)
* 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Remote experience strongly preferred but not required
* Reliable internet connection (minimum 20 UPLOAD & 20 DOWNLOAD internet speed, hard-wired connection)
* Smartphone for VPN access
* Quiet and professional workplace
* Basic computer knowledge and skills
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm
* Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
* Excellent organization and time management skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Insurance industry experience (considered a plus but not a requirement)
* Ability to obtain a fire extinguisher for home use (safety requirement)
**Training and Onboarding**
* 2-3 weeks of comprehensive training in a classroom setting (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST)
* Post-training, you'll be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, with a flexible schedule between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm CST
* Monday-Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is presented
