This role involves working with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and financial institutions, to ensure seamless processing of transactions, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Completing daily tasks related to account processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers
* Coordinating with customers, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and process transactions
* Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working on member cases and tasks assigned to you
* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from customers for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
* Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming customers for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and court fees
**What You'll Need for Success**
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* A high school degree or GED
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and customers
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
* Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
