**About the Role**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving their queries, and ensuring their satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Responding to customer inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
* Processing customer transactions, including payments, deposits, and withdrawals
* Assisting customers with account-related queries and providing information on our products and services
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless service delivery
* Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our systems
* Adhering to arenaflex's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
**What You'll Do**
* Complete daily tasks and balancing features to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer transactions
* Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and financial institutions to resolve customer issues and process transactions
* Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
* Work on member cases and sports assigned to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction
* Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws
* Process mortgage bills, multi-account deposits, credit card bills, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
* Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Log, study, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Complete daily balancing and department closing
* Obtain information from customers for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests
* Research and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfer information
* Communicate with vendors to process wire transfers
* Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer regulations
* Deposit check returns, review member draft changes, process member exams, verify customers for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers
* Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
**What You'll Need for Success**
* High school degree or GED
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
* Previous customer/member service experience
* Previous banking or Credit Union experience
* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
**Essential Skills and Competencies**
* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use of the software
* Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
* Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and customers
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits
* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
* Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
