As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a talented team that's dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients, while also enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance that comes with working from home. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Answering incoming phone calls and receiving on-site visitors in a professional and courteous manner * Responding to phone calls and email inquiries regarding medical record requests, including record status, concerns, issues, and other related matters * Conducting thorough research to resolve issues and provide accurate information to clients * Maintaining quality and production standards as defined by client contract and/or management determination * Managing time effectively to ensure proper turnaround for all tasks, including customer service requests, follow-up, and feedback * Collaborating with teammates and managers to ensure the needs of our clients are being met * Assisting in the development of process improvement initiatives to enhance our services and operations * Communicating with clients, internal staff, vendors, and arenaflex through various channels, including phone, fax, physical mail, and email * Responding to client requests in a timely and professional manner * Organizing and releasing records via email, physical mail, and fax **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need to: * Successfully complete all training programs as required * Act in accordance with all HIPAA Privacy and Security guidelines to ensure confidential handling of protected health information * Execute prompt analytical decision-making/research with specific attention to detail * Comply with State laws, policy, and company procedures * Utilize specified phone call production tracking and reporting procedures * Possess excellent communication and customer service skills to assist clients via phone and email * Have excellent computer and keyboarding skills * Learn and use corporate proprietary software and/or 3rd party tools * Demonstrate strong ability to multitask and critical thinking skills * Have experience working with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel * Have experience with HIPAA, the Release of Information process, medical records, and/or physician practice operations (highly preferred) **Essential Qualifications** * High school or equivalent (required) * 1 year of customer service experience (required) * Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in the healthcare industry or with medical records * Knowledge of HIPAA and Release of Information processes * Experience with corporate proprietary software and/or 3rd party tools * Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks * Experience working in a remote environment **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
