Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our family. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, taking orders, answering questions, handling complaints, and troubleshooting problems. You'll be the face of our company, and your positive attitude, empathy, and professionalism will make all the difference in our customers' experiences. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist all internal and external customers in a professional manner, providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries. * Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations. * Receive requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and complete necessary processes for equipment services. * Coordinate home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery. * Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed. * Provide customers with product and service information, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings. * Maintain current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, ensuring accurate billing and insurance processing. * Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services. * Follow policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance. * Understand and strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service. * Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable. * Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the growth and success of our team. **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a professional, proactive, and positive individual with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. **Education and/or Experience** * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred. **Skills & Abilities** * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Customer service orientation. * Attention to detail. * Good data entry skills. * Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Physical Demands** The physical demands of this role are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
