**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Babcock Ranch, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Your primary duties will include:
* Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback via phone, email, and in-person interactions
* Scheduling patient appointments, managing waitlists, and ensuring timely communication with patients and healthcare providers
* Verifying patient insurance coverage, authorizations, and pre-certifications
* Processing patient charges, initial collections, and preparing accurate billing
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
* Managing business services for workers' compensation, commercial carriers, employee health, and corporate accounts
* Collaborating with healthcare teams to resolve patient issues and concerns
* Adhering to arenaflex policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: Required
* **Less than 1 Year of Experience**: Required in Clerical/Administrative roles, with a preference for experience in Insurance or Customer Service
* **State of Florida Licensure**: Not Required
* **Certifications/Registration**: Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1-2 years of prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a customer service or administrative role
* Strong knowledge of insurance verification, authorization, and pre-certification processes
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
* Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
