**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering incoming patient phone calls and billing inquiries regarding billed services from our East Coast and West Coast facilities in an efficient, friendly, courteous, tactful, calm, and helpful manner.
* Responding to patient general inquiries, information updates, and billing questions while resolving problems and concerns with accuracy and professionalism.
* Updating patient demographics and insurance information as needed.
* Upon obtaining information to facilitate claim payment, entering necessary insurance data and re-filing claims with insurance companies.
* Reviewing patient accounts to determine why there is an outstanding balance and effectively explaining the details.
* Processing payments over the phone from patients.
* Negotiating payment arrangements with patients.
* Explaining insurance company's explanation of benefits (EOB).
**You Are**
We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about customer service and exercises sound judgment and an ability to remain professional in all situations. You'll be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy providing world-class customer service.
**To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have**
* A High School Diploma or GED.
* Experience working in a high-volume call center.
* Proficient computer skills, including the ability to type 30+ WPM.
* Knowledge of medical insurance processes, terminology, and explanation of benefits (EOB).
