**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Answering daily member telephone calls and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Directing members to the proper services needed, educating them on available options, and creating linkages to the Medical Management Department for authorization of services
* Assisting providers with eligibility, benefit, and resolution of claims issues
* Finding Provider(s)/Services for members
* Arranging Transportation for members
* Answering billing/claims status questions; resolving claim issues for members
* Assisting with pharmacy issues
* Helping Members access community support services
* Verifying member eligibility
* Quoting benefits
* Assisting with Referrals
* Assisting with member health assessments
* Assisting members with closing gaps in care
* Participating in Departmental Projects, as appropriate
* Coordinating quality improvement initiatives with Medical Management, Provider Relations, and Quality Depts.
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1 year of experience in a call center environment
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Spanish speaking skills (required)
* Bilingual applicants are preferred and eligible for an increase in pay rate
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet departmental standards
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1+ year of experience in a customer service or healthcare-related field
* Experience with benefits and claims resolution
* Knowledge of healthcare industry and terminology
* Ability to work in a remote environment and maintain productivity
