**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* **Active Listening**: Actively listen to customers to understand their concerns, needs, and build rapport.
* **Essential Support**: Provide essential support in navigating the customer's inquiries and explaining it in simple terms.
* **Solution Discovery**: Discover solutions using tools and resources to help meet the customer's needs.
* **Concern Resolution**: Empathize and resolve concerns to simplify the customer's experience.
* **Technical Navigation**: Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **Age and Education**: Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
* **Customer Service Experience**: Have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center (utilities industry experience is a plus).
* **Self-Driven**: Be self-driven and able to focus on the same task/objective for long periods of time.
* **Customer Service Skills**: Possess exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
* **Technical Proficiency**: Have high computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge.
* **Availability**: Be available to work between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time.
* **Attitude and Etiquette**: Possess a professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette.
* **Customer Focus**: Have a customer-focused personality and motivation to achieve goals.
* **Background Check**: Must pass a background check, including credit review and assessments in training.
**Nice-to-Haves**
* **Bilingual in Spanish**: Bilingual in Spanish (preferred for higher pay rate).
