**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative in our National Campaigns Unit, you'll play a critical role in providing shareholder communications for public companies on behalf of internal clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with investors, addressing their concerns and providing accurate information to ensure they make informed decisions. This is a contested proxy meeting scenario, where you'll need to effectively communicate the message that management has the best interests of the shareholders in mind.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Respond to inbound, outbound, and email inquiries from investors, providing accurate and timely information to address their concerns
* Engage in contested proxy meetings, effectively communicating the message that management has the best interests of the shareholders in mind
* Direct investors to the correct voting channels, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions
* Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and develop effective communication strategies
* Utilize data entry skills to accurately record and track investor interactions
* Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* 6 months+ years of customer service, data entry, or related experience
* Good speaking voice and ability to communicate effectively with investors
* Ability to read and correct grammar/English speaking
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in a call center or customer-facing role
* Familiarity with shareholder communications and proxy meetings
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
**Equipment Requirements**
* MacBook (not preferred, but has to be a current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11)
* Headsets – need USB headsets (no wireless)
* Dual monitors will be beneficial, but not required
* Ability to come off mute when called on and participate in team discussions
* Internet Speed: 50 download/ 10 upload
