**The Role**
As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to agents and carriers across the country. Your primary duties will include:
* Providing routine customer service and support over the phone, through email, or chat to service new and existing accounts in a high call volume environment
* Answering incoming phone calls with a positive and service-oriented attitude
* Delivering a high level of customer satisfaction with the goal of creating an exceptional experience
* Maintaining a continual working knowledge of our client's products, services, and promotions
* Delivering service utilizing prescribed standards to supply accurate information to callers and resolve their issues
* Researching, resolving, and communicating information back to the customer in a clear and educated manner
* Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
* Completing a variety of forms and documents based on guidelines
* Documenting all customer information, communications, and sales in our CRM system
* Reviewing and processing applications, binders, and other documents required for policy issuance
* Processing policy endorsements, sending time-sensitive policy documents, handling various agent and carrier requests
* Assisting with creating and updating various processes
* Organizing policy files for proper documentation management
* Working collaboratively with other team members and across departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
* Providing excellent customer service internally and externally
* Other responsibilities as assigned
**Shift Requirements**
The shift requirements for this role are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST.
**What We Look For**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* High school graduate or equivalent education
* 1+ years of customer service experience, handling high volume phone calls
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to receive and make calls with confidence
* Strong organizational and desk management skills
* Strong multi-tasking abilities
* Ability to be a team player collaborating with customers and others within the organization
* Detail-oriented to complete tasks accurately
* Strong work ethic and time management skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based programs, and comfortable learning new software

**Compensation**
The compensation range for this position is $18 - $22/hour, depending on several factors including geographical location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge pertaining to this role and industry.
