As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls from healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries, providing assistance with claims and benefits. If you're a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Answer incoming calls from healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries, providing assistance with claims and benefits * Conduct every transaction with a customer-focused, courteous approach, ensuring first call resolution and achieving quality scores while maintaining production standards * Research and evaluate medical claims and benefits for proper adjudication * Document call activity and make requests for corrective action into VA systems * Maintain a working knowledge of applicable VA regulations as they relate to 72-hour notification requirements * Maintain access for all client systems, as assigned * Act as an effective team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals * Other duties as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or GED required * 1-2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or claims-related environment * General office skills and knowledge of standard office equipment * Working knowledge of software such as Excel and Word * Data entry and 10-key experience necessary * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Personal traits of a high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty, and integrity **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with client systems, soft phone systems, and customer relationship management software * Knowledge of VA regulations and procedures * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Experience with data entry and 10-key systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in fully developing each of our associates.
