Experienced Customer Service Representative – Foodservice Distribution Support

Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct support to our customers, resolving their queries and concerns in a timely and accurate manner. You'll work closely with our sales team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional customer experiences. **Responsibilities** * Proactively communicate with customers to exceed their expectations and build strong relationships * Handle escalated non-management issues in a professional and courteous manner * Respond promptly and accurately to all internal and external customer correspondence, with thorough documentation * Receive and analyze customer requests via phone, email, or chat, providing information or routing requests to the proper person * Demonstrate ownership of customer requests, ensuring follow-through, documentation, and complete resolution * Assist with returns and replacements as needed * Analyze transactions, correct records, and adjust errors * Provide accurate information on pricing and availability of in-stock items * Resolve customer questions related to orders, placing orders where opportunities arise * Maintain a minimum average of 90% in customer service and sales area quality assurance reviews * Stay up-to-date with product knowledge by attending vendor meetings, training, and participating in provided education * Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work collaboratively with other team members * Identify areas for department, training, and process improvements, and communicate them to management * Participate in training support for CSRI as needed * Report system or product inaccuracies in a timely manner **Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1 year of prior outside foodservice sales coordination or customer support experience * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Ability to work effectively in a team environment **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and resolving customer concerns * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our colleagues grow and develop their careers.
