As a remote customer service representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of our borrowers. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a CSR, you'll be responsible for communicating with borrowers via phone, chat, and email, providing exceptional service, and resolving complex issues related to federal student loan programs. If you're a people person with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we encourage you to apply. **Essential Job Duties** As a customer service representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Responding to incoming borrower calls, chats, and emails in a friendly and professional manner * Counseling and informing borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility * Taking loan payments and updating borrower accounts in an efficient manner * Locating needed information and minimizing the time borrowers are put on hold * Maintaining the security and privacy of borrowers to protect both the borrower and our partners * Working an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks * Utilizing strong computer skills to navigate our systems and resolve issues **Qualifications/Additional Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college or a bachelor's degree preferred * The ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment * A Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check * To live in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area * Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills * The ability to multitask (type while talking) * Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord * A location in your home that is free of noise and distraction **Provided** As a customer service representative at arenaflex, you'll enjoy: * Required computers and other equipment * Paid training at regular wage rate * A comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, paid dental plan, life insurance policy, and 401K company match * Federal paid holidays **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a remote customer service representative, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
