**Influencing Member Engagement**: Utilize all relevant information to effectively influence member engagement and resolve issues without or with limited management intervention. - **Problem-Solving**: Take immediate action when confronted with a problem or made aware of a situation, taking ownership of each customer contact to resolve their issues and connect them with additional services as appropriate. - **Identifying Member Needs**: Identify member needs beyond the initial inquiry, answering unasked questions, and resolving issues without or with limited management intervention. - **Providing Education**: Provide education to members to support them in managing their health, responding quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems while avoiding over-committing. - **Other Activities**: Perform other activities, such as providing claim status information, benefit coverage interpretations, explaining plan eligibility, processing claim referrals, new claim hand-offs, and escalating issues as appropriate through the system for grievances and appeals. **Requirements** - **Customer Service Experience**: 1+ year of customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate. - **Organizational Skills**: Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. - **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. - **Education**: High School Diploma required. **Preferred Qualifications** - **Customer Service Certification**: Customer service certification, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM). - **Experience with Healthcare Industry**: Experience working in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of healthcare terminology and concepts. -
