We're proud to be a part of the arenaflex family, and we're excited to have you join us on this journey! **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested * Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Completing resets and revisions as directed * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assuming web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders (pick items), delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store) * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers * Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required * Previous customer service experience preferred * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time * Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous retail experience * Knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Experience with customer service software and technology * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and knowledge.
