About the Role
We are seeking a talented Customer Service Associate to join our team as part of the Business Banking Operations group. This role will have direct responsibility for managing a pipeline of applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and SBA regulations, and providing exceptional support to internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of applications, monitoring status, performing follow-up, and ensuring required documentation and expectations are met to complete the application process
- Provide support to internal and external clients in account management, operations, documentation, and technical support
- Resolve basic or strategic client issues regarding products and services, billing, account questions, or record transfers with minimal impact
- Exercise judgment within defined boundaries while developing an understanding of related policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Act as a primary support person for the client and internal partners supporting client services
- Provide information to managers and/or internal and external clients to resolve client issues
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6 years of customer support, financial services, or contact center experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- A Bachelor's degree
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle multiple and competing needs
- Ability to remain organized and focus on tasks
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Small Business Administration (SBA) experience
- Call center or customer-facing experience
- Financial institution experience
- Experience with line management
- High-level Microsoft Office skills
