Our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves) * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers **Training & Personal Development** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to: * Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate * Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations * Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your performance and career growth **Essential Qualifications** To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will need: * To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * To be willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours * To have a high school diploma or equivalent * To have six months of experience in a retail environment (preferably with arenaflex) * To have prior work experience with arenaflex (preferably in a customer-facing role) **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * To have prior work experience with arenaflex (preferably in a customer-facing role) * To have six months of experience in a retail environment * To have a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices **Skills and Competencies** To succeed as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to: * Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations * Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your performance and career growth * Advance to leadership roles or specialized positions within the company * Enjoy competitive compensation and benefits packages * Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the growth and development of our team members.
