About the Role
As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every customer has a seamless and enjoyable experience with our services. You'll provide accurate information, address customer concerns, and take detailed records of vehicle conditions, damages, and other relevant information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide them with a warm and personalized experience
- Gather feedback from customers to improve their rental experience and inform future service enhancements
- Conduct thorough checks of vehicles upon return, documenting any damages or issues
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding rental charges, receipts, and other relevant information
- Provide information and assistance with transportation to airport terminals, as needed
- Identify and report any mechanical or body damage to vehicles, ensuring prompt action is taken
- Maintain a well-organized lot, ensuring ease of access and traffic flow
- Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, adapting to varying weather conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the business
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills and qualities. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a strong foundation in customer service.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1-year of customer service experience, preferably in a related industry
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must be at least 21 years old)
- Basic computer navigation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including day and evening shifts
- Willingness to travel (up to 5-10% of the time), potentially by airplane
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multilingual communication skills (ability to speak multiple languages)
- Previous experience in the mobility or rental industry
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
