With a strong focus on teamwork, continuous learning, and career growth, we're dedicated to helping our employees achieve their full potential. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Logistics Representative, you'll be responsible for executing daily operations, managing complex freight tenders, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with internal departments, customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of our account plans and SLAs. This is a mid-level role that requires proactive problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. **Primary Responsibilities** * **Complex Freight Tendering**: Responsible for executing complex and exception-based freight tenders, including rate negotiation with carriers and securing capacity for specialty moves (white-glove, refrigerated, flatbed, expedites, etc.). * **Customer and Carrier Communication**: Communicates directly and frequently with internal departments, customers, carriers, and vendors through oral or written methods to ensure seamless execution of account plans and SLAs. * **Service Performance Management**: Manages service performance at a load level, including root cause analysis for pickup and/or delivery failures, to ensure high-quality service delivery. * **Exception Load Management**: Responsible for gathering information and research from carriers, consignees, and shippers, documenting load exception information in the Transportation Management System (TMS) portal, and managing exception loads to completion. * **Process Improvement and Cost Savings**: Identifies process improvements and cost savings opportunities utilizing Quality, Delivery, and Management (QDM) methodologies. * **Escalation Management**: Handles escalations from Customer Logistics Coordinators regarding mismatched data/exceptions following customer SOPs. * **KPI Management**: Responsible for managing internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as assigned, including tender acceptance, number of missed pickup and deliveries, etc. * **Work Instruction Creation and Maintenance**: Creates and maintains clear work instructions and ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * **Compliance and Regulatory Requirements**: Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures. **Education and Experience** * **High School Diploma**: Required * **Associated Degree**: Preferred * **0-1 years of experience**: Required * **At least two years of experience in contract logistics, transportation, or related industry**: Preferred **Physical and Cognitive Requirements** * **Ability to follow policies and procedures**: Required * **Ability to read, write, and interpret information**: Required * **Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide**: Required * **Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel**: Required * **Ability to sit, walk, or stand for duration of shift**: Required * **Visual acuity to perform essential job functions**: Required * **Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment**: Required * **Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds**: Required **Benefits and Compensation** * **Competitive Pay**: arenaflex offers competitive hourly rates depending on your location and experience. * **Pay Range**: $16.92 (Min) - $24.51 (Mid) - $32.10 (Max) Hourly * **Benefits**: arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!
