**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Fielding incoming customer service calls, taking ownership of resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner
* Researching account status and identifying account issues to provide effective solutions
* Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes with professionalism and empathy
* Processing disconnection and re-connection requests with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction
* Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues with a customer-centric approach
* Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests with a focus on resolution
* Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
**Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
* Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent listening skills to understand customer concerns and needs
* Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers
* Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality customer service
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
* Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements to enhance customer experiences
* Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications
* Comfort in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace
**Experience and Background**
We're looking for candidates with:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred
* Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred
* Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred
