As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, working closely with our clients to resolve customer issues, address billing inquiries, and provide personalized support. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Customer Experience Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: * Fielding incoming customer service calls, taking ownership of resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner * Researching account status and identifying potential issues to prevent future problems * Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements * Processing disconnection and re-connection requests, ensuring seamless transitions for our clients' customers * Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues, providing clear guidance and support throughout the process * Initiating collection activity on past due accounts, working closely with clients to develop customized solutions * Serving as a customer advocate, upholding the highest standards of service while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies **Essential Qualifications:** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred * Experience within the retail electricity industry is highly desirable, but not required * Familiarity with similar markets, such as utilities, telecom, or cable, is also a plus * Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills * Outstanding phone etiquette, polished communication skills, and exceptional listening skills * Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers * Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service * Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements * Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications **Preferred Qualifications:** While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate: * Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools * Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards * Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals * Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies **Skills and Competencies:** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook * Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations * Strong teamwork and collaboration skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
